What ThreadCite is

ThreadCite is a research and drafting tool. It monitors Reddit through the official, read-only Data API, ranks threads by how likely AI engines are to cite them, checks subreddit rules, drafts replies for you to edit, and tracks whether AI engines cite the threads you joined. By using the service you agree to these terms.

A human posts, always

ThreadCite has no code path that submits posts, comments, votes, or direct messages on Reddit. Drafts end at a copy button. You paste, edit, and post from your own Reddit account, in Reddit’s own UI, under your own name.

That means you are responsible for what you post: for following each subreddit’s rules, Reddit’s User Agreement, and applicable advertising disclosure law. The product surfaces rules, caps your cadence, and includes disclosure snippets by default to make that easy, but the account and the words are yours.

No guarantees of AI citation

We measure and improve your odds. We do not control ChatGPT, Google, or Perplexity, and we make no promise that any engine will cite your brand, your threads, or Reddit at all. Citation patterns shift, which is exactly why the product tracks trends across multiple engines instead of selling you a single-day verdict.

Acceptable use

You may not use ThreadCite, or content produced with it, for astroturfing, vote manipulation, fake or purchased accounts, sockpuppets, undisclosed paid promotion, or any coordinated inauthentic behavior. See our no-astroturfing policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break it, without refund.

Trials, billing, cancellation

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, plans bill monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not charge again after that. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

Your data

Our privacy policy describes what we store and for how long, including the 30-day purge of raw thread bodies. You keep ownership of the drafts you write and the inputs you provide.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Subreddit rule summaries are best-effort readings of pages that change without notice; always check the sidebar before you post. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to you before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance. Questions: legal@threadcite.app.
